afternoon rhododendron

Another rhododendron shot. I do like them and they are rather spectacular. We didn't make it yet to the Botanics but there are plenty on the way to and from work. The afternoon sun on the way home is particularly well positioned.

My thoughts are with the people in South Germany who got badly flooded yesterday. My parents only suffered some damage to their garden, others weren't so lucky.
