An English Country Garden

A last day of a programme in our beautiful setting in the country and what a wonderful summer day... I am often not in England at this time of the year.. but am so glad that I am at the moment. It is glorious and to be in this country house setting is just glorious... There were many photos of the house that I could have put here and behind the house is a wonderful herbaceous border and some wonderful topiary.. one bush is the shape of a teddy bear.. but this colour of the simple foxgloves put everything else into the shade... not literally as there was not too much shade around today... We sat outside most of the day and had to find shade as the sun was so hot.. it was a reflective day with some profound learning and heart reaching truths... Some say we we are in a recession (although that is a description of what has been and not what is and today we were most definitely in the now) but we seem to be blossoming in everything... cycling, the preparation for the Olympics, the Jubilee year... this is a good time to be in the UK ...

And today was my last day with Ramesh and Arul. I am so glad that they have experienced England like this... it has been wonderful to have them here with me.. we will meet again in India in our winter...
