Golden chain tree

That is an old name for the Laburnum. A beautiful tree in our garden.

However, all parts of the tree are poisonous and especially the seed pods. This particular tree was coppiced three or four years ago but has regrown very well and is now better than before its surgery.

It gives joy on sunny mornings when I pull back the bedroom curtains.

Good fun grandparenting in Stockport all day. Even the M6 was not too bad.
