Forgotten pleasures.

After taking the grandchildren to change their books at the excellent town library we all retired to the nearby branch of a well known bookshop.
The idea was to give the young people some cash whilst the oldies retired upstairs to the coffee lounge.

As ancient technophiles almost all our books for the past two or thee years have been downloaded into iPads. As eyesight deteriorates a little it is good to be able to increase print size and a lot of my reading is done in white print on a black background.
Grandchildren reappeared with their books and even offered us change which was nice.
But old habits die hard and on the way out we were caught by that well known table of buy one get another at half price. It brought back a good feeling.
