A la Ronde

Today was a granddad day. Elly and Oscar came over to play this morning and first we had a game of demolition derby on the Scalextric (I'll be sticking wing mirrors and rear wings back on shortly) and then we all went out to A la Ronde which is an 18th century 16 sided house near Exmouth, which was built for two spinster cousins to house the souvenirs which they brought back from their grand tour of Europe. It's run by the National Trust and still has all the artefacts which they brought back. They were running various things to keep kids amused this half term week so we had a good day out there.

There are a couple of extras, one of which shows it's splendid situation looking out over the Exe estuary. There are a few more here.
