Waiting

A beautiful day, bright and sunny with lovely blue skies.I had a wander round the garden taking some photos for 30 day wild,  30 days of doing something wild so I had a think of what I might do and have decided to use some of the days to compare some of the Scottish Islands we have visited.
So Orkney will come first and then we have a  visit to Skye, Harris, Lewis, North and South Uist and a few little islands inbetween in the middle of June.https://livinginahouseonahill.wordpress.com/2016/06/01/30-days-wild-on-the-black-isle/
Quite a lot going on in the garden. The bluetits ,of which I think there are two families nearby at least, have been busy collecting food. One of boxes on the tree is definitely occupied and it's been bit nerve wracking when the Great Spotted Woodpecker has again peeped in the box and the parents have flapped around and scared him off.
I really liked the way the light was catching the seeds on the dandelion head. Mike wo nt be pleased to see one going to seed though as it means it could lead to more in the garden.
Watching Highland Nature, waiting for the dolphins and Charlies part. The dolphins were having a great time again today, a few leaps and racing in the waves.
