Berrington Hall

We left home this morning to go to North Herefordshire / South Shropshire, where we shall be staying for a few days.
This afternoon we visited Berrington Hall, a grand Georgian property, (National Trust) which is set in acres of beautiful parkland. We didn't have time to go in the house itself, and it was too warm to leave the dogs in the car, so instead we enjoyed a walk around Capability Brown's final landscape.
This is the view from across the lake, which currently has thousands of waterlilies just starting to flower. .
