Tracksiders

Twenty Years Ago volunteers with families coalesced into Tracksiders, a family working group.  Ian who started them off is still leading the group although his girls have flown the nest now.  Twenty years on there are many families involved and not just the children of existing volunteers, many join who just came along for a ride one day and decided to come back!

A celebration train today, the recovery and refilling of the millennium time capsule and a big party tomorrow round off this weeks activities.
We are just spectators now although Ruth edits and produces the Tracksider Newsletter.

Today's family news: Jacinta made a coffee table at the Corris Craft Centre, I took Ruth to the dentist 20 miles away for an emergency filling, Amy & I had a train ride when this pic was taken looking through the cabglass of our engine and J & I had a sunset stroll along the promenade at High Tide tonight.  Making the most of the holiday weather :-)

BIG THANK YOU to all who helped put yesterdays butterflies on the front Popular page - a rare achievement for my humble efforts x
