Flower Friday: Flame tree

It's Friday! And SO welcome!! I am quite shattered!

Made it in for the service this morning, collecting Pauline and giving her a ride in. Wow. This church has a very good prayer network. The amount of people who came up to ask G how she is and reassure her they have been praying for her - she was really touched.

Did a quick shop in the Spinneys there before getting home to spend the rest of the day here. I got to rest, relax, make up hours for Sunday, choose a week's worth of pictures to blip, and finally, to start catching up here! It's been a week I don't want to have again, but we got to the end of it! Thank you to a number of you who have left very kind, supportive messages after looking at SweetArt's journal.

My picture is of the flame tree outside the living room window. Every day it throws out more flowers. Sorry this isn't a close up; I will try to get a shot of its incredibly complex flower before the end of the season. A typical Friday in the garden... lots of families enjoying the green area...
