Tailplane

Researchers at the School of Aeronautics at Cranfield University have shown that in the event of an accident, those passengers who are sitting towards the tail of a plane have a much greater chance of survival than the others. With that in mind, they have designed this prototype that has been revealed today which has a tail at both ends of the plane, thus increasing the number of passengers who have a chance of surviving an accident.
