Sheringham

Today we went to Sheringham and got crabs.

A nice ride on a steam train along the Poppy Line from Holt to Sheringham, followed by a walk along the seafront and a lunch of crab salad overlooking the sea. We watched the Sheringham Lifeboat crew bringing in their boat and being towed back on land by their tractor; I don't know if it was an actual rescue but suspect it was just a practice drill. Back to Holt on the train where I took the extra as the locomotive ran round the carriages, and back to the cottage.

We've got a chicken in the Rayburn; yesterday we just really 'heated up' so it wasn't proper cooking. Lets hope we've got the instructions correct!
