Well why not? Squirrel Saturday is somewhat more alliterative than Squirrel Blip Friday and in any case this particular squirrel (looks like she's got kits) was not in my garden yesterday so...

Lots of garden jobs done today with still more planting to do tomorrow.

Tonight we attended Anthony's rugby club end of season dinner. Tbh I was dreading it as I'm not good at parties, but it was actually pretty good fun. Kelly Brown, currently a Saracens player and previously Captain of the Scottish team was the speaker and he'd these 3 tips,for the boys: 1) Set yourselves goals and set them high, 2) Work hard, 3) Don't be discouraged by setbacks; they happen all,the time, learn from them and move on. It was a short and simple speech, perfect for 15 year old boys and wise words for us all really.
