Dunes...

A Saturday lie in, followed by breakfast and organising our bbq things, and then it was along to collect my new glasses (no scratches - bliss) and prescription sunglasses (no longer Roy Orbison-esque), and then down to Leith Market to meet Iain.

Coffee from the friendly guy who is the Bearded Barista, a mooch about, and then a wait in the sun for Rebecca to join us. As she told us, her timekeeping is shite. So, an hour later, she arrived.
We all had a wander round Custom House, as there was a pop up market on today. Sadly, we missed LizImbrie manning the Garvald stall.

Another wander round the market, bought some food for our afternoon adventure, and then it was off to Yellowcraigs for a late lunch.

Not sure we realised how late our lunch would be....

Once we got to Yellowcraigs, we found that the tide was in, and that it was quite windy - so we spent the next while wandering around, trying to find a decent spot to set up our bbq. After a few failed attempts, we got the stove fired up and started cooking our food. So tasty!

A couple of hours later we packed up and headed to the car park - but not before I tripped on a rabbit hole and fell flat on my face! No lasting damage, except for a bruised knee.

Home in time to FT B before he headed to bed, a film and some nachos.

All in all, a good Saturday.
