Stunning Snowdonia

Last weekend of Mountain Leader training, and the weather is looking great.  Today was just stunning, clear views all round Snowdonia.  I was jealous of those going up Snowdon, they would have a summit view, something I’m desperate for.  Lol!

We had a refresher on navigation and rope work today, as before I was very happy with my navigation, not so with rope work.  The nav training meant we climbed Elidir Fawr, which stands at 923 metres.

After we came down we got an insight into how Llanberis Mountain Rescue operates, one of the busiest units in the UK because Snowdon is such a popular mountain these days.

The blip is of Snowdon.
