Salvia pratensis

One of the rarest plants at the nature reserve, Meadow Clary or Salvia pratensis, is just coming into flower. I really need to get some wire netting around the plants tomorrow as muntjacs or rabbits have already nipped off a couple of the flower spikes. It also helps to stop excessive trampling by keen photographers!
