A novel way

This morning we were invited by our friends Stephanie and Richard to join them for a steam train ride on the West Somerset Railway starting at Bishops Lydeard.  This train planter caught my eye and I though what a novel way to display plants.
We had a lovely ride although it was a bit overcast.  When we arrived at MInehead we made a beeline for the fish and chips and they were very tasty.  The boys decided that they would walk along the coast path back to Dunster.  Stephanie decided to go shopping and in fairness to us we did get some things the boys wanted - but we saw a bag shop and we just had to have one each to carry the rest of the shopping back.  The sun came out and we had a good natter and made our way back to the train and picked the boys up at Dunster.  They had plenty of time for their walk and killed time waiting for the train by building dams - will they ever grow up. When we got back home we invited them in and we had bread rolls, quiche, scones with jam and cream and chocolate cake .  All in all a very good day
