Park Life

Went to a fascinating talk at the camera club this evening. About Jane Bown, the portrait photographer who did nearly all her work for The Guardian. Wonderful pictures and a privileged insight into the way she worked. No artificial lighting, no light meter. Just two cameras with a 35mm and a 50mm prime lens. No cropping- wonderfully composed in camera. Very humbling.

So on the way back to the station afterwards I had to try my hand at something. This was the best I could do. Although I quite like the extra and didnt know which one to post as my Blip.

I don't think Ms Bown would have needed to worry about any competition.
