Teasels

Years ago I used to do pen and ink drawings and teasels were one of my favourite subject.  These were in the path we were clearing today and about to get scythed so I carefully cut them down and put them to one side to bring them home.   Am now home and they are still on the path. Can I be bothered to go back and rescue them?
