Postcard from North Queensferry

On our way through to Elie this afternoon L and I took a slight detour once we had crossed the Forth Road Bridge.  Although much colder than in Glasgow it was a beautiful sunny afternoon so we went down into North Queensferry to look at the bridges.

We had a lovely chat with one of the local ladies as she came to put some rubbish in one of the bins. She was telling us that there were 12 wee houses in her row and they had 48 bins among them and there was really nowhere to put them all. Houses, in the past, weren't built with space for all these large plastic bins. I know we need to recycle but ....
