Proud as a Peacock

A day out .... well more of a morning really as the torrential rain sent us scurrying back to the car sooner than we intended.

Our morning visit was to Potfest, a pottery and ceramic display and sale. It was held agsin this year in the grounds of Scone Palace.

On a sunny day the setting is splendid but as puddles formed where previously there had been no puddles and the grass turned into a quagmire we decided to call it a day.

There are always peacocks wandering about making the most raucous of noises. Today their magnificent feathers were looking just a little bedraggled and sadly no wonderful display of tail feathers.
