The Cannon

The cannon at the University of Guelph has a different look almost every day. You can see all the drips and layers of paint on the ground around it here. Fore more about the campus tradition of painting the cannon, see here. Today it was painted for a 20th birthday... for someone who was born the day J and I got married, maybe (see yesterday's blip).

I had a productive day on campus and am enjoying catching up with my wonderful colleagues. Many of them were in the office today despite the fact that workers were tearing up the carpets in our hall and the soles of our shoes were getting sticky with carpet glue.
