Two weeks in ...

After two weeks of extremely hard graft the garden looks - well, as you see it. I'm starting (I think) to see how it will look when it's finished but the theodolite, cement mixer, spirit levels, stone cutters and crushers, sand and rubble around the place make visualising quite challenging. The extra shows the lovely old rowan around which it's been planned. Even the dog, if you can see him, looks bemused.

The weather's returned to something more recognisable as June in Scotland. After a fortnight of hot, sunny and dry days we had some rain, cloud and lower temperatures today. But I'm not worried. The garden needed the rain!
