Speed Bonnie Boat

Some great, warm, early-evening sunshine.  The Current Mrs Creel says she would like a speed boat as it would make it quicker to get the messages from Stromness.

More tinkering today with the mower carburettor, won’t CMC ever get it fixed ?  We had an update today from Onnie and Peggy who between them have lived in the Parish for 177 years.  Onnie told us that when he was at school one of the favourite pastimes of the peedie boys was to go down to the shores of Scapa Flow and look for sailors’ caps.  He said he felt good if he could wear one the next day at school.
