The rain has some benefits

I was doubtful that I would find a blip today as it's been rather damp and grey.
We went to Inverness to get some keys cut , had breakfast in Dobbies and then drove down by the Beauly Firth. Even though the skies were black and the tide out the lane looked beautiful lined with flowers , delicate cow parsley, ox eye daisies ,common nipplewort and greater stitchwort.
I had a quick walk through the woods which was also beautiful. Quiet except for the sound of the birds.
The gardens at Redcastle were blooming well, yellow and red poppies looked really good.
Fairly satisfied that I had a blip we drove back to North Kessock where we saw the Firth full of yachts. So many and quite a few spectators including this little boy, an adult and a cute dog :)
