A sail today to the Isle of May .... rather choppy on the way out.  A few folk felt rather unwell but I had taken my Stugeron so was fine.

June is the best month to see the puffins and many of the other sea birds and grey seals. The cliffs were crowded as the nesting pairs of kittiwakes, razorbills, guillemots and shags found suitable ledges to call home. The puffins return to the same burrow year after year. We were safe from the dive bombing terns this year .... no nesting females and no chicks yet to protect.
