Papaver (Garden Gnome)

Blipping early today ..... off this afternoon to an 80th birthday celebration at Dumfries House.
These delicate, but tough, Icelandic Poppies are flourishing in my garden. As the azaleas begin to fade the poppies are beginning to bloom .... always something happening in a garden!
