Cute Coot!

After our visit to the Kelpies this morning L and I went to Callendar House where we enjoyed a very welcome coffee and cake before taking a walk round the loch. It was good to walk in a new area. The young coots were scooting across the water trying hard to keep up with mum. They were practising their diving skills as a move towards independence. L was thrilled to find some wonderful wild orchids growing at the loch side ...... I'll leave that blip for her!
