Mud - hot and steamy

The valley above Hveragerði is riddled with hot springs. The river is famous for bathing and the water temperature varies depending on the hot springs that feed it. But not all the pools are advisable for  such activities - this one in particular is constantly boiling and thick with siliceous mud.
