Jon

With a body made of wood and vocal chords of steel and bronze, Jon's beautiful lady's song can bring tears.  Jon Rauhouse plays with some of the biggest names in the business, and it's no wonder why--his talents seem limitless, he's a professional in every sense of the word, and he's a genuinely nice guy.  But much more than that, he'll sit around a backyard bonfire and teach folks, like me, a musical trick or two, or call on his friends to raise money for charity or open a new music venue.  This is a shot of him playing his Weissenborn-style acoustic lap steel guitar at a show tonight.  A friend captured him playing the same song on the same guitar for her "Red Chair Recordings" that feature folks we admire making music.  The video is here: Jon Rauhouse plays "Desert Luau" for Red Chair Recordings.
