Fledged

This morning I saw a beautiful male bullfinch eating seeds in my garden. I rushed for my camera and snapped away for the few moments that it stayed. When I checked the photos they were black - I must have knocked the dial into the wrong mode in my excitement. Frustrating!

There followed a blue tit family - parent and a group of chicks. The parent was taking seeds from the feeder and feeding the chicks that were in the tree. This one was braver than the others and perched on the bars, a sensible move as it probably got more than the others.
