Skye

Although yesterday was misty and midgy, this morning the sun was shining on Skye although there was some high cloud.

When we left the hotel we drove to Portree to drop Cailean (who was getting a lift to Edinburgh) and then we went on the hill road over to Struan to see Cathleen's brother in law, Angus whose eldest daughter  Karen was the bride at yesterday's wedding.

I hadn't been on this road for quite a few years but had not forgotten the spectacular views of the Cullins and then of the hill at Gesto (where Angus farms) with Talisker behind.
