Mono Monday: Made me smile

Actually, I only found out the theme for Mono Monday around 8:30pm. It's been a really busy day. No time to look at blip at all through the day. This picture is actually from Saturday, when we were in Wafi; in a different part of the Mall. Du (one of only 2 telco's here, and MY provider who insisted on giving me an extra 5GBs of data for 2 years and 200 minutes of international calls for 6 months, all for FREE!!) are going to open a customer service centre. Woo hoo.

Their colours are royal blue (the dark bits) and pink (the upload progress bar). Nice to see someone has a sense of humour!!

And today, I got my summer holiday approved and tickets booked and purchased! Been thinking about it for weeks, and then it fell into place very quickly. Popped into Dubai Mall on the way home. G had to return (again) a Christofle frame that just won't hold together. The very smart shop assistants apologised profusely and will try to get to the bottom of why it keeps falling apart. The heat of this part of the world doesn't agree with the glue.

G popped into Kino Kuniya to find a classic book for one of her students. I can't believe how many books they have. It is THE place to buy a book in Dubai...

And I worked from home today! Trying to get ahead with a task that is very detailed and needs lots of concentration.
