Opera on the Lake

Aethon ni i lawr i Barc y Rhath neithiwr.  Roedd cyngerdd opera, a swper Eidalaidd er budd yr elusen Calonnau Cymru. Roedd y bwyd a'r cyngerdd yn ardderchog. Daeth y canwyr  o Opera Cenedlaethol Cymru a chanon nhw yn Eidaleg, Almaeneg a Chymraeg hefyd.  Ar y diwedd, canodd Osian Bowen a Llio Evans can o'r opera 'Hywel a Blodwen' gan Dr. Joseph Parry.  Roedd e'n noson hudolus.

We went down to Roath Park last night. There was an opera concert opera, and an Italian dinner in aid of the charity Welsh Hearts. The food and the concert were excellent. The singers came from the Welsh National Opera and they sang in Italian, German and Welsh too. At the end, Osian Bowen and Llio Evans sang a song from the opera 'Hywel and Blodwen' by Dr. Joseph Parry. It was a magical night.
