A very wet bee

We rescued this poor bumble bee from a plastic box which was full of flowerpots and rainwater. It looked as though he had got so wet and cold that he couldn't move. He's now sitting on a wooden table in the garden, moving occasionally, but I don't hold out much hope for him.
A fun night last night. Our water stopped working at around 10:45pm. C was out walking Hector and Ziggy at the time and came back saying that there was a huge flood outside, but that it wasn't raining. A call to Severn Trent emergency line ensued. They arrive some time in the night - they were certainly out there working at around 3am, and departed at 4am. They were then back at around 7am and wanted to know if we needed a bowser, but by this time our water was working again. It appears that they have been outside all day and have dug a deep hole to mend the burst pipe. We now have traffic lights outside to divert drivers around the hole, which I hope will be infilled tomorrow. Can't grumble though, they did a great job and very quickly too. Nikonabike (C) has blipped a picture of some of the workers in a very jolly mood  as they were finishing.
