Attadale Gardens

These gardens are north east of Plockton, by the shore of Loch Carron. They were completely redesigned by the owner, Nicky Macpherson, after the original gardens were badly damaged by storms in the 1980's. They are well worth a visit, partly for their location - mountains suddenly appear in the background of views of the garden, as you can see in the extra photo. After visiting the gardens we walked up the glen beside Attadale River and were grateful to have lunch in the dry.
