A New Clump

Seaside arrowgrass, Triglochin maritima

I have never knowingly seen this plant before but that is not surprising as its flowers are really rather insignificant (see extra). Apparently it can be found around most of the coast of the UK. The flower spikes were just under 2 ft high. This was growing about a mile and a half from my house.
