Island Life (3)

I was booked on the 17:10 ferry to Oban, so that gave me most of the day to see a bit more of Mull.

I took the B road from the southwest of the island over to Ulva Ferry on the northwest.

B roads are much like A roads, but the single track is narrower and the passing places are less frequent. Another feature is a higher density of sheep and cattle on them. Usually they move out of the way. Sometimes they stand and think about it for a while.

I’d heard the Boathouse on Ulva (an island with a population of 11) would be a good bet for lunch. It was. Home made potted crab and brown bread.

The Boathouse got the Blip.

Extras - the ferry and the “booking” system.
