Driveway Rose (Wednesday 15th June 2016)

It turns out that I've blipped this rose that grows at the top of the driveway a number of times before in previous years. I've rediscovered its name - Princess Grace of Monaco. This was another hastily snatched blip taken in rain, the default state at the moment.

Dusty Springfield - Don't You Know (Baby) (recorded 31st January 1964)
From Dusty Springfield's debut album A Girl Called Dusty this was the last song to be recorded for it and has her letting her hair down on a romping cover of an old Ray Charles song (he recorded it in 1953). Although the producer is named as John Franz, Dusty herself had a strong uncredited role as producer too. Ivor Raymonde was the musical director and the Breakaways add the choruses.
