A Rose...

...is a rose is a rose.
But not this rose.
This is a drowning rose.

Like all the other roses and flowers in my mom's garden. Most of them are rotting on the bush. They look really bad and it took me a while to find a good looking one.

Like the flowers the vegetable fields in the Vorderpfalz are under water. Strawberries? Cherries? Not this year.
And the weather forecast for tomorrow and all of next week doesn't look any better.

Off to watch Germany - Poland now. The  Ukraine - Northern Ireland game was interrupted for a few minutes because of rain and hail.
