The allotment in June, so much green

Yesterday's restful calm on the railway was replaced by a packed day getting ready to depart for Wales this evening; the first part of a tour that will take us north to Edinburgh for a family wedding with only a day at home to turn around.

At the gym (relatively) early, then to the allotment to leave it as tidy as possible for the next couple of weeks. Harvested broad beans, radishes, lettuce and the first strawberries for tea tonight.

After lunch mowed the lawn at home, tidying up the garden. Bottled this year's elderflower champagne. Time to pack and pack the car, setting out for our overnight stop in Northampton just after 8.00pm
