Ladies' Day

A memorable day of tennis. Today was 'Battle of Britain' day at Queen's Club, the championship event that precedes Wimbledon. Two British players were battling it out on court - the first time that two Brits have contested the quarter-final of a tennis World Tour event since Tim Henman beat Greg Rudedski in 2002.

The winner this time was Andy Murray, but what a strong fight 21-year-old Kyle Edmund put up against him. We felt we were watching a future champion honing his talent against the world's current number two player.

It was Ladies' Day today at Queen's, and Peugeot invited a small group of women motoring writers - well, there aren't that many of us! - to don our finest 'formal attire' and join them for the day. So we did, and what a great match to watch. Sorry chaps, this one was a girls' exclusive!
