Le Mans

The world's greatest motor race is happening right now, all 24 hours of it, and I am sorry not to be at Le Mans this year as I have been in recent years. By the wonders of modern technology, though, I can watch live streaming of the race. This shot of the action is as seen from one of the leading cars, an Audi R18 with Benoit Treluyer at the wheel. Note the speed: just on 200 mph!

The fight for victory is between Porsche, Audi and Toyota. By mid afternoon on Sunday, we'll know who is the 2016 winner of the world's most famous motor race.
