A Sea of Seapinks

A wet start to the day but the ground and flowers were really needing it.  It's remained windy and overcast for the day, a peerie spell of sunshine this evening.

I've had a busy morning catching up with photo orders and trying to finish off jobs.  Met up with mam at lunchtime and headed to the Peerie Shop for a bite to eat.  After lunch, it was a busy afternoon on the museum desk amd time for me to unwind, the holidays have started at 5pm tonight :)  walkies this evening with Sammy and popped along a friend after for a cuppa.  Off out with friends tonight.

While me and Sammy were out walkies, this sea of pink caught my eye from the road.  The seapinks are looking great just and in full colour all over the isles.  This was taken on New Street, Scalloway.
