But, then again . . . . .

Ceiling.

Posted on the 17th June.

A quick Blip of the living room ceiling at Jnr’s flat while we’re waiting for the landlord’s agent to come and do his inspection; I did suggest yesterday that repairs and redecoration were in order. The car is loaded ready for the trip home, but the visitation isn't due until noon so it will be at least 12:30 before we are on the road; by that time the Nottingham work force will be clogging up the roads and we probably won’t get a clear run until we’re past Manchester.

Everything went as expected, the agent even mentioned that he looked forward to doing business with Jnr in September. We shared the driving, which meant the stops were of minimal time: just dispose of the last lot of drink, grab fresh food and drink, then back on the road - one of us consuming the stuff while the other drove. Jnr doesn’t drink coffee so he  managed to sleep for much of the journey, but then he hadn’t had a good night on the sofa. For a man who’s travelled completely around the globe several times and spent a significant amount of that time roughing it on safari, he’s not very hardy.

I’ve just posted yesterday’s, “M6”.
