Now Knottman's treasure.

In recent weeks I have blipped some of Mrs. K's botanical treasures.

Now it is my turn. This is Devil's Claw. Physoplexis comosa. A rather special alpine plant found especially in the Italian Dolomites.

I have grown it for many years in my little alpine house. Apparently it will survive outside in rocky crevices but it is one of the favourite foods of slugs. So I prefer to keep it under glass.

It has done very well this year and gives me much pleasure,
