Portmerion - architectural explosion

Decided to give our tired legs a rest and head for flatter ground. Walked along the cob at Porthmadog and into the town for a look around. Picked up some lunch and then walked back along the cob and through soggy woodland to Portmerion.

Such a weird place - not quite sure what to make of it. There were some lovely spots and small hideaways but the place felt like a giant film set. A wedding photographer was working hard to pose bride, groom and wandering guests in all the best vistas.
