Nicola in the Back Lanes

Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland, our local MSP was out and about supporting this annual, local event on the Southside of Glasgow. Good to see her in amongst it all, chatting to so many of the community.

"Bungo in the Back Lanes", where residents and local businesses set up stalls in the back lanes of the Strathbungo terraced rows.

I enjoyed pakora, seafood and cake. Classical, folk, Indie and worship music. Art, jewellery, wood carving, face painting, card and craft stalls. Impressive display of wigwam play tents. The Glad Cafe garden was heaving. Shimla Pinks pakora and samosas selling fast.

A lovely day for it, and good to catch up with loads of people I haven't seen in a while.
