Subway at the Edinburgh Film Festival

After another day at the interface (a blog post, a bit of email, and a pile of grant proposals) I took the evening off.

It was our friend Véronique's birthday a few days ago, and I said that I would treat her to a night out this evening for her birthday present. First of all we went to the cinema, and then we went our for a sushi supper. The film was Subway. I loved it when I first saw it in France in 1985. I was curious to see if I would still find it amusing. I did :-)

Mr hazelh unexpectedly joined us having returned earlier than expected from his watery adventures in Nottingham.

Exercise today: a bit of walking (8,800 steps)
