Well Done Danny Boy(le)

So Danny Boyle orchestrated an amazing show last night, we Brits are a peculiar lot if we're honest, and there was no hiding from that last night. You did us proud.

Sorry that the cycling team couldn't bring Cav home today, but the drama as it unfolded and the commitment of his team mates to deliver him was what we've been looking forward too.

I've enjoyed the quiet of my own company today, lots of jobs cleared a tidy 6mile tempo run, and though it's raining now caught this as the rain began to sweep in and the light was hanging on in there.

Off to the Lakes for the day tomorrow to run a few fells. :-)
