Tiny Tuesday: New Leaf on Marquessa Plant

Inspired by this shot last Tuesday: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2189536577028359755, I decided to take part in Tiny Tuesday. This is a new leaf on one of our Marquessa plants on the patio. Our biggest leaf at the moment is 4ft x 3ft and including the stem and leaf together reaches 7ft. Another day of much patio work and goodness knows what else, but I never stopped.

I feel like I have swollen glands, so am hoping it doesn't come to anything. I didn't sleep well last night either. It sometimes happens in Barcelona after a Cairo stint and in-between courses, but I've been trying to keep a regular routine this time. Fingers crossed for tonight.

In other news we're looking for a new Hoover/vacuum cleaner. Ours is too heavy and weighs 8.3 kilos, including the rather unwieldy tube. Any hints very welcome. Weight and ease of handling is more important than heavy duty suction, given that we have ceramic floor tiles and rugs, but spread over two floors and it will be stored on the 3rd floor landing.
